I took this photo while travelling to North Conway, New Hampshire a few years ago. The bear was amongst other carvings and its expression and hand in the air made me think he (or she) was saying, "Pick me! Pick me!" So I did. Or at least for the photo.
Ha ha! It _does_ look like a pupil in class, and a well-behaved one, too!
