I took this photo while travelling to North Conway, New Hampshire a few years ago. The bear was amongst other carvings and its expression and hand in the air made me think he (or she) was saying, "Pick me! Pick me!" So I did. Or at least for the photo.

Horses along the Irish Coast
I've always wanted to take photos of horses running on the beach. While driving through Ireland in 2008 my husband and I were looking for a pitstop and we passed by a group of horses on the road. About a mile up, we pulled into a small parking lot where there was a restaurant next to the beach. Within seconds the horses ran by us, I went to the car and grabbed my camera and was able to capture a dozen or so shots. What great timing!
